Our reopening process is guided by data and science. COVID-19 cases are rising throughout CA. We're now seeing a rise in cases in SF too. Our numbers are still low but rising rapidly. As a result, we're temporarily delaying the re-openings that were scheduled for Monday.

This is why it is important to follow protective health measures and utilize the tools we already have. Everyone needs to wear face coverings, maintain social distance, and practice good hygiene. Nobody should wait to get tested.

If you are feeling symptomatic, get tested. If you are an essential worker or you need to leave the house for work, get tested. And have your family get tested too. Let’s protect each other so that we can safely reopen San Francisco.

Our public health experts will evaluate the data over the coming days to determine if it's safe to move forward. I know people are anxious to reopen--I am too. But we can't jeopardize the progress we've made. We'll continue to let you know as soon as decisions are made.

Does the city have any tracing in place? Do we know the source of the new cases, are they related and are there any transmission trends (e.g. unfortunately overexposed frontline workers v. bar patrons; inside v. outside, etc)? Seems that this info is critical to containment.

You have a ton of other options, for starters shut down the addiction camps & clean up our streets, bring testing to the ppl (employees of malls, & office buildings should get tested each morning as the enter work facilities), lots of other options if you look, get creative

The SF COVID tracker is only showing ~38 new cases yesterday. Where is this 103 number coming from? How many of those cases were from San Quentin prisoners that were transferred to SF hospitals?

Idea for the upcoming season Virtual Reality! Partner with
@oculus and sell virtual seats for the home games. I’d pay some good money for say a limited season pass or full season pass.@mlb@SFGiants#baseballisback#mlbisback#openingday#mlbThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
