As we face an unprecedented budget shortfall due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to find ways to bridge funding gaps for key services that address homelessness, housing, and mental health, and also provide relief for small businesses that have been struggling.
Last summer, Board President @NormanYeeSF & I called for a review of our business tax system to find ways to make it more fair & equitable.
Today, I introduced a ballot measure that builds on this work & would provide hundreds of millions of dollars for critical City services.
