There are a lot of good cops. But if they are replacing police response for non criminal complaints & sending trained social workers it would be better. The sister who called the 911 to help her mentally ill brother who was in the street comes to mind.

Thank you. But the current POA contract allows for mediators to override departmental disciplinary actions and for disciplinary records to be excluded from promotional decisions after a period of time. There won’t be accountability if you don’t fix the contract.
