Racism is a sickness that has devastated our country for far too long. It stems from a lack of recognition of the humanity, pain, and suffering that Black people have experienced since the birth of this country, and it must be addressed.

Well said. Please follow through on this and commit to major cuts to the SFPD's departmental fund. We cannot break a cycle of violence and over-policing without reallocating wasted police resources into education, social services, & public works.
