Starting tomorrow morning at 5am we will be lifting the curfew in San Francisco. The protests we have seen in this city and across the country are for an important cause and our city will continue to facilitate any and all peaceful demonstrations.

Is that why you arrested peaceful demonstrators last night?

As an SF resident, it's really scary to see innocent protesters & passerbys get riot guns pointed at them for no reason at all. I've also been seeing SFPD vehicles speeding & nearly hitting people crossing Market St. Is there an update for what's being done about this? Thank you.

Much longer conversation we need to have here about those City agencies, and whether the funds they consume would be better allocated elsewhere during a pandemic and economic crisis. Please stream
@SFPD’s budget discussions with you and the City Council.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Thank you! I know Chief Scott disagrees but remember if looting occurs on the larger franchises they have insurance and a lot of surplus product they’re going to dump anyway due to COVID-19 loss of revenue. (a lot is destined for landfill) Protect the small businesses.

demand that
@SFPD &@SFPDChief deescalate situations rather than charge them. The behavior I saw from the police, while peacefully protesting , was disturbing at best. Blocking sidewalks to force us into the streets, just to charge us from behind for being in the street.#shameThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
