To be clear, we have deferred rent for city tenants and we are working on relief efforts, including rent forgiveness for impacted small businesses. What about rent paid during lockdown on closed, city-owned properties; will it go to future months when we re-open? That’s payroll for some people paying their residential rent, buying groceries, etc.
