Thank you. Do you think we can also get antibody testing since many of us had it earlier on in February and March?
-
Some health care providers offer antibody testing, but we don't yet know if the presence of antibodies protects against reinfection -- or if it does, for how long. SFDPH will continue to follow the science on this.

Dear Mayor Breed, Please update the SFDPH order to allow non-urgent scheduled surgical procedures and doctor's visits. Our patient's are suffering and need preventative care!
-
Thank you! I just tweeted the SF Dept of Health to find out the same thing! The counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo and Santa Clara started allowing general eye exams from ODs and OMDs on May 1st (reclassified as essential). In SF we were not. Why????

How often can we get tests? Weekly?
-
Let’s talk about what a test means first. The COVID-19 testing detects if you have the virus at the time you take the test. It does not test for immunity or if you had the virus in the past. (1/2)
