We continue to base our decisions on data and public health recommendations. Testing results from UCSF show that low-wage workers are being disproportionately impacted, so we're converting 556 unused hotel rooms originally intended for first responders to serve these residents.

What about the homeless encampments and the mentally ill who cannot make self care decisions? That group is going to get hit hard, if it hasn't already.

So grateful for your amazing leadership.

I am data-driven in my comment. Look at the COVID-19 illness and death for SF and give the Mayor credit for her choices.

I am complying. Since you ‘opened’ construction this is what I hear 8hrs/day: remodeling in apts surrounding me. I am doing my part, please limit the noise we’re exposed to while sheltered. It’s inhumane.

Would you please tell us if the next month will be re-open business and school? I just have 2 weeks more to graduate in massage school and I can move on. I’m now stuck in the bad situation with running out of savings money. I can’t pay the rent in San Francisco for any longer.

Keep the schools closed till October. August is too soon. Nothing should re open till 2 weeks of consistent 0 new cases.

Thank you, Mayor! Have a feeling that San Francisco will get better soon as long as people keep vigilant and practicing social distancing!
