I know this is hard for everyone, but we have to keep our focus on protecting public health every step of the way. Our focus now must be on continuing to strengthen our system and track progress as we plan for the future steps we can take if we continue to see improvements.

ABSOLUTELY AGREE! We do not see employees at Walgreens or Safeway getting sick. Why not open restaurants and bars at 25% capacity and move from there. If @LondonBreed has the slightest empathy for any small business owners you will get them back to their businesses.
It is the job of elected leaders to listen to diverse advise, and make decisions based upon many factors, not just one "expert" or dept. Overall economic factors should always be a priority. The world will never be 100% safe, and pubic health is more than just one virus.
