Starting today, people in San Francisco are required to wear face coverings at essential businesses, in public facilities, on transit, and while performing essential work. This is not a replacement for staying home and physical distancing, but it is an important step for safety.

Ok. What about the homeless? They don't have access to masks, showers, etc. Please don't talk to me about safety until EVERYONE is safe. I'm extremely mad at you.
-
The homeless are still the most vulnerable. I'm one of them. Safety for EVERYONE.

Where can I buy facemasks?
-
Masks are not needed, any face coverings that cover the nose and mouth and are secure work. They can be a manufactured or homemade mask, a bandanna, scarf, towel, neck gaiter or similar item.

What about runners and walkers? Plenty of those on the sidewalks but most don’t wear face coverings

Definitely runners and walkers

All for this though I've tried wearing a face covering while going for my exercise runs and it's uncomfortable to the point I've had to remove it to breath properly. Any suggestions? Maybe something thinner?

The press release attached to her tweet addresses this.
