To allow for physical distancing in our shelters, we opened Moscone West, with just under 400 placements for our homeless residents. We're securing thousands of hotel rooms for quarantine spaces to free up beds in hospitals and serve first responders and vulnerable populations.

Finally, @SF_DPH announced guidance on face coverings. The most important thing you can do is stay home & wash your hands often. If you must go out, cover your nose and mouth with a cloth covering. There's a shortage of N95 masks, please don't go buy them.

So are we all just accumulating months of rent debt as we’re ordered to stay home only to have back rent due within 60 days. Can you clarify that and then move into how we’re supposed to find work when this is over AND not lose our housing? Paying 6k in back rent - whew.

You should freeze rent! People are struggling so much and it wasnt the public's fault. How are people going to be able to afford to pay it All back when things start up again.
