I just spoke at the Board of Supervisors with another update on the City's actions regarding coronavirus. The steps being taken to contain and respond to the virus are necessarily disruptive, and they're having an impact on our residents and our economy.

Stop evictions now: close the civil courthouse for 30 days so tenants don't have to pile into crowded courtrooms to avoid homelessness. Then order sheriff not to enforce pending eviction orders.
