The City is doing everything we can to prepare for and respond to COVID-19. These steps will help to protect more than 25,000 people in homeless shelters, Navigation Centers, and SROs.https://www.sfchronicle.com/local-politics/article/SF-readies-5-million-coronavirus-cleaning-for-15118199.php#photo-19153243 …

If we can house them during this COVID-19 crisis then we can house them during the ongoing homelessness crisis. Please identify housing and build new housing for all 8,000+ people on our streets this year. It is possible!

A few years ago, a concept to redevelop Fort Scott (near GGB) in Presidio that would add high-density (tall) mixed use with housing, underground parking while transforming old barracks, all around a cross-sector leadership campus with tech, rec and public safety was rejected.

True to form of The Mayor of The Homeless. Not The Mayor of The People of San Francisco. She needs to be recalled.

What about these same people who do not “self quarantine” and instead ride BART or MUNI while being visibly symptomatic? Do BART police have authority to remove? If not should anyone ride BART or MUNI during this Coronavirus season?

enough empty land in
#Presidio to add both short and long-term housing for 100k people? Much more IF high-density, tall structures (20-50 stories) were built and many of antique single family homes wasting land were demolished? Make Presidio the Singapore or Dubai of SF.pic.twitter.com/BOjuEKoDWx - 1 more reply
