You should fix Muni first! Please get your priorities right.

We need to do both, though car-free market street is one example of our efforts to reduce congestion to prioritize fast, reliable transit throughout the City. I wrote about the plan to improve Muni service here if you'd like to read more:https://medium.com/@LondonBreed/fixing-muni-ecb536aea50e …

“Bikes up 25%” - such a vague statement with zero explanation of what it’s being compared to (previous day, same day prior year etc). A max 2 minute saving on muni is hardly anything to cheer about. Zero mention of riders on muni - why not share the full stats?

Not to mention the particularly dry and pleasant weather for February. I have been cycling more, not because of changes to Market Street but because the weather has been perfect for cycling.

Busses still get stuck behind people cruising on bikes down Market, often oblivious, with their headphones on.

This will be fixed by the later phase of the project when they break ground and separate buses & bikes. http://bettermarketstreetsf.org/about-urban-design.html …

Thanks, I'm one of them on bikes. One idea though it's a bit hard when the bus stops in the bike oane so often. Maybe the bike lane could be separate

Way too many cars at intersections blocking the box as well as Market St! We need more staff at intersections during commute hours!!
