In San Francisco, we too often allow for endless appeals and delays that prevent us from making positive change in our community. To be blunt: we allow ourselves to get in our own way.

Years of work, dozens of community meetings, unanimous approval by the Planning Department, and unanimous approval by the Board of Supervisors. Met with another appeal. The top target of ceqa lawsuits statewide remains - housing. Anti-housing use of ceqa in existing communities is redlining, period. Shameful.
