We're constantly looking all over the City for opportunities. But passing unnecessary bureaucracy got us into the crisis that we are in today. More red tape will slow down the process and delay the resources we need to get people off the streets and into care and shelter.

Thoughts about this idea? Have a homeless facility in every single neighborhood and encourage the neighborhood groups to "adopt" the facility in their own neighborhood, getting to know the individual humans and helping individuals when possible.
Thought about this idea? Hold addicts accountable. Jail or treatment. These people aren’t “out of work”. They’re drug addicts and alcoholics. The mentally ill are in a different category but the BOS won’t approve real conservatorship.
