I grew up in needing food stamps/welfare & some folk was embarrassed over it, but I’d rather be embarrassed because going to bed hungry again is way worse. Never be shamed in getting help. Take pride in the struggle. Better than giving up.

Look how I turned out. Wait strike that last sentence. Better yet, when reviving FS I’d work soup kitchens & food banks, gave me a feeling of giving back. And that’s wot it’s all about. Helping, giving back.
