Help me understand how you connect someone with housing that doesn’t exist.
Or people who don’t want housing to begin with. Many of the drug addicted folks living on the street just want to be left alone to their own devices.
I am living in a shelter that takes $470 of my general assistance money each month but cant put a dent in their bed bug problem, clean their bathrooms, or offer any sort of resources to help work my way out of here. How can I get a place of my own.....
And get out of the very place that fuels my crippling social anxiety and ptsd? I'd honestly love to have my own place and work towards self sufficiency.
