I ride Valencia every day, and the changes are fantastic. Thank you! But note we’re talking about 2 or 3 blocks—the rest of the road is dangerous as ever, with many cars loading in the bike lane on every block during commute hours. Looking forward to the improvements expanding!
Bicycles are less dangerous and putting them between peds and traffic will increase the safety of the pedestrians greatly. Age based stats aren't helpful as I'm more likely to get run over by a 65+ driver, too.
