We fought to include funding to help reach our goal of opening 1,000 new shelter beds by 2020. But we also know that we need to do more to prevent people from falling into homeless in the first place, which is why we funded $5 million for new homelessness prevention programs.pic.twitter.com/yRgXAfRBOB
We funded 100 new treatment beds for people suffering from mental health & substance use issues, as well as $2.6 million to expand our behavioral health outreach programs and $2 million for @SFFDPIO EMS6 team to help those who are the highest users of City services.
The budget includes funding for 80 new Bigbelly trash cans, 7 new Pit Stops, and expanded hours at existing Pit Stops, in addition to $3.4 million in new funding for more street cleaning in high-trafficked areas. These programs will make our City cleaner.pic.twitter.com/KP8lv2B7GT
We’re supporting our small businesses with $9 million in new investments to help them start, stay, and succeed in San Francisco, including funding to reduce costs for regulatory fees, reinvest in our Small Business Revolving Loan Fund, and expand the SF Shines program.pic.twitter.com/6WhmAWToQY
And we're funding a number of equity programs to make our city work for all of our residents, including $8 million for paid internships to help our young people succeed.pic.twitter.com/FG4EKOqAPa

Can we conduct an independent end-to-end audit to track how much ends up in the hands of cronies and/or comes back in the way of campaign contributions to either you or other #SanFrancisco Dem candidates? How much creates jobs for friends of #SF Dems? #followthemoney
Isn’t this the same political bullshit said every time a budget is signed.
It’s ok to call those unhoused residents Homeless you know.
