Mayor Breed, stop waiting for laws to change, and start building. Each Supervisor should be tasked with the responsibility of getting 300 new apartments approved in their districts within 300 days. Anything else, will only be hot air.

Tell me. I’ve been waiting 2.5 years to get permits to build a few units. The ones that I built triggered a bunch of other unnecessary upgrades like new sidewalks and trees. On top of that, we got hit with a property tax reassessment, which wiped out any value created.

Yup, there are more disincentives than incentives - otherwise there'd many many more on the queue Too bad since ADUs could yield an amazing number of most affordable units.
