This is a meaningless step to reducing carbon emissions. It's inequitable. It encourages driving. You can't say you are serious about VisionZero and reducing carbon emissions without being serious about reducing driving. I'm awaiting your support of a congestion fee.

The end goal is goof but not the path to get there, at least according to this article, since it's almost entirely about electric cars instead of the more effective and safer modes of transit, walking, and bicycling. We must get people out of cars no matter how they are powered.

This is a distraction at best. EVs still result in huge amounts of CO2 during manufacture. SF could be a leader in transit & biking, if car congestion and danger were not depressing ridership. Focus on protected bus & bike lanes!

Mayor Breed, thank you for your good work on this front. I encourage you to continue your commitment to more housing in SF. Long-term, only way SF can be considered to making a legitimate effort to being a green city is reducing the number of people who take long commutes.

It's a tiny & expensive step that won't reduce pollution. Better to implement congestion pricing, give transit priority over all modes, build a protected bike network & safer intersections NOW.
