Today the Board killed my Charter Amendment to streamline the creation of 100% affordable & teacher housing. It is estimated that per project it would have saved an average of 6-18 months and $1.5 to $6 million. This represents 6-22 more affordable homes per project.

Greed by both government and slum lord have contributed to this. SF is an extreme example; almost all of CA is ridiculous as well, heck, much of the country is overpriced compared to the cost of living.

The BOS is almost all homeowners and landlords. The game is to show up at the groundbreakings for homes they opposed in order to look like they care, but then do everything possible to obstruct, pleasing their voter base of homeowners.
