Why limit this to Bayview residents? Fillmore needs to be included in this opportunity too! When you limit participants, you work against the purpose. I was born and raised in Fillmore but as a vendor, I prefer Lake Merritt in Oakland. It's like Black Wallstreet, open to all!

@SFPD over police street vendors in SF forcing vendors into accepting locations like Oakland which promotes vendors at events like#FirstFridays@OakFirstFridays ,@oaklandmuseumca, and#LakeMerritt.@Oaklandpoliceca don't bother vendors and@LibbySchaaf supports our efforts. -
If vendors can't make money in the city, they certainly can't live in the city. I wish that the city that I was born was more receptive to the diversity that once existed in SF.Nevertheless, I support this Bayview foodpark&encourage more opportunities citywide for people of color
