What does this mean? Under my proposal, more affordable & teacher housing would actually get built. Teacher housing sites currently in development like at Francis Scott Key would get built faster. We're in a housing crisis--we need to act now, & we need to get it right.

I'll add one more thing--all of this discussion is separate from my Charter Amendment, which cuts the red tape that gets in the way of affordable and teacher housing getting built. If you think we need more affordable housing now, there's no reason you shouldn't support it.

The fact that modest proposals like this are so difficult is proof that we need SB 50

This is great. Thank you for calling out the Board of Supervisors' BS when they pretend to support housing.

NIMBYS, that’s who. That’s rather this city rot than let their astronomical property values drop.

Build housing here, now. Shouldn’t take 5 years of study to add housing on a mostly unused parking lot: https://sfplanning.org/project/balboa-reservoir#timeline …

Maybe good start, but how about not letting so many foreign investors and LLCs buy up properties which drives up the prices? I live in Noe and 2 houses have sold for over 5 million. Disgusting.

AND....these two houses are not occupied by anyone as of yet.
