One caution: as a sometime driver I find the current mix of bike-focused signage, pedestrian signage, and car signage hard to navigate. I’m wondering if, in efforts to make streets safer, we’ve made them more unsafe esp for older and new-to-the-city drivers

How does this sound to you, Jo? "... reprioritizing our roads so that people have options besides just taking a car." (Not trying to sound cynical, but reframing the statement for emphasis, and genuinely curious on your take)

Perfectly on message. A huge step for San Francisco mayors. Thank you. Our next step will be hiring a Dir who is up to the challenge of rapid street transformations. And giving sfmta the tools to do small, lightweight street changes without endless meetings and expensive process

We have zero enforcement of our bike lanes right now. That is the reality on the ground. Why is this response going out to people who report cars blocking the bike lanes and when will it change?pic.twitter.com/0Vwzrk7Nwy

Regarding enforcement: you recently asked the SFMTA to increase blocked bike lane citations by 10%, but what's the baseline number? How many more citations a year do we need to see a 10% increase? Either way, excited to see this improve!

10% more than zero is still zero

Please include protected bike lane approaches to rail stations. There is a chance to do so with 16th St BART right now, but it needs to be added to the plans for Valencia to Mission in this project:https://www.sfmta.com/projects/16th-street-improvement-project-phase-1-and-phase-2 …

Today at Howard and 3rd a queue of cars in the bike lane. This intersection recently had its bike lane moved so now it is almost always covered by cars in the evening.pic.twitter.com/DZkXUpY2Ew

Until there is a strict restriction of the number of
@Uber and@lyft on our roads, we are not going to accomplish any of your goals. Uber and Lyft drivers truly have zero vision because they are constantly looking at their phones.@TheMarinaTimes@AaronPeskinThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
