There's still a lot of work to do, but it is in our long-term interest to explore taking advantage of this unique opportunity. SF has a proven track record of providing clean & reliable power through our Hetch Hetchy Power and CleanPowerSF programs, and we should build on that.
The SFPUC should continue working with City Attorney @DennisHerrera's office to conduct the more in-depth assessments necessary for an acquisition. Thank you to the SFPUC and the City Attorney for crafting this initial report and I look forward to the next steps in this process.
