This area has so much potential. I remember thinking that when I launched my kayak from there a couple of years ago. A waterfront park will be great for the Bayview community!

Sure! And make a homeless shelter right in the downtown waterfront that has the highest concentration of residents and is frequented by tourist! Talk about being logically. All a marketing gimmick with the hope to get elected.

A difficult situation here is not all homeless want to get back on their feet. I have worked with homeless, found them shelter and ways to have better hygiene - it was refused stating they liked sleeping on park benches & saw no improvement needed in hygiene. Not all are alike.

Seems like a great location for a large SAFE Navigation Center. Why isn’t the city looking at that for this as well? Is the goal to fail? Because that is what is happening.
