I'm really sorry to hear that. Drug dealing is unacceptable and we have work to do. I've been working with SFPD on a two-tiered approach of disrupting the inflow of drugs to the City and increasing enforcement against public drug dealing b/c we can't allow it to continue.
City agencies are also now out 5 days/week doing proactive outreach to people using drugs on the street to connect with services and help w/ detox and sobriety, which has shown early success. The Task Force will help us improve these efforts and recommend new ones moving forward.

most of the dealing and mayhem happens at night, like 3am especially downtown, Mid Market, SOMA. so unless there's increased patrols at night, not much will change
