Please reconsider the plan for this to be all luxury housing. Jackson Square is an affluent high-resource neighborhood. It needs affordable units onsite!

Build twice the height, affordable on site. (It rhymes!)

From the article: "While living above a fire station might not appeal to light sleepers, most people would get used to it. It’s in the urban environment. It’s downtown. You get used to the noise,” he [Updike] said." Architects/acoustics experts should plan to reduce that noise.

“It’s downtown. You get used to the noise”... although your body would never get used to it, with potential detrimental effects on
#health, as noise expert Dr. Bronzaft has pointed out in her studies.#HealthyLiving

This is good. Use it to push a law through lowering rent on places. Nobody, nobody should be paying $9,000 and up for a 2 bedroom apartment in San Francisco. That is highway robbery! Stop the rent gouging!

Funny you should mention it but Trinity's advertisement at 1177 Market St states that it will have 502 brand new apartments by 2021. I hope 152 of those units are for low income household.

It really needs to be 100% for low and middle income. Check out how many vacant market rate housing units are there in SF
