I hope @sfmta_muni is going to give them a lot of training on accessibility. I don't feel a lot of sympathy for a transit company which had to be sued for accessibility. (But glad the workers aren't totally screwed.)https://sf.curbed.com/2017/11/7/16618232/chariot-justice-department-disabled-fine-san-francisco …

And while it wasn't accessible from the start, I'm proud to say Chariot's commuter routes were 100% accessible by 2017. If you were in a wheelchair and needed a ride, a Chariot would show up. That's more than Lyft or Uber can say, to this day.

That’s great! Also consider easy, reliable public transportation for those who work at SFO. Airport job is a 24 hour operation. It’s tough to get to work when Bart, Caltrain and Muni don’t communicate for connections or none at all.

I would imagine some have concerns about safety. How do you address those?

Speaking as a resident, former Muni operator applicant, and union member, you had better make sure you've invited everyone who's on your 9163 eligible list first. Those people have been waiting.

Love this! Thank you Major! Can we also grab some of their busses too for the smaller lines? ie. 66, 36 etc. I remember muni was going to launch smaller busses years ago but the never showed up.

They won't even sell the Vans( because it's not a bus) to the employees who are willing to buy them. So I'm sure they won't some to muni
