The issue in San Francisco is lack of leadership, cronyism, lack of accountability and electing people who have failed over and over, not White people. Sad to see the Mayor race baiting yet again.

Agree homelessness is an urgent issue as is rampant, open drug use, filth & garbage - not getting there’s a strategy or plan. Today I called bc of meth heads openly smoking as kids walked by. The police asked if they were armed?! Next time should I just say yes to get a response?

San Francisco politicians have turned "the homeless" into a growing "industry" financially & politically invested in prolonging & expanding the problem of people living on the street. They use homeless for $ & power. SF has no intention of ending the "problem."

Saw no less than 8 people either shooting up or in the throes of a heroin nod at the MUNI stop on Hayes & Market right behind Civic Auditorium. Police cruiser drove by didn’t bother to stop. #MayorAllTalk

First, the percentages are misleading insofar as many, perhaps majority of minority homeless are from other places and not SF. We have the problem, but it's been exacerbated by these folks's arrival.

Well the majority of the people on the street are white heroin addicts so idk what this means. Racism is a huge problem in this country no doubt but not the root of this issue.

The solution is getting rid of the homeless advocates. They don’t want to fix the problem because if they do they are out of jobs. My hope is more businesses will cancel conferences and meetings here. For once the money stops we’ll see change.
