Today I signed legislation approving the India Basin project, which will transform a former industrial site into a vibrant space with 1,575 homes, open space and retail for the Bayview. A central planning triumph. Obviously there wouldn't have been much challenge in simply getting out of the way and letting people build.
Will this project be tall? Like 20+ stories? Or another mostly flat development like most of SF?
How about we get the beds and tents off of our sidewalks so people can walk safely without tripping over zombies and their trash?
