14 beds added by January and 90 more by next year. Estimates on conservatorship exceedingly low. Actually assessing the needs and those with extreme issues look like a much higher number, why aren’t the numbers even close to aligned with those in need?

We need more mental health

If there are no permanent housing exits then this is only a superficial visual fix for already priveleged housed people. Wheres the permanate exits?

Now, let me get this straight. Even if Prop. C passes, this man will not be in line for help until late 2019. Is that right @OurHomeSF and @Benioff? If so what is the plan in the meantime?

I really appreciate the mayor’s efforts not to help people in need, but to hide the problem so tourists have a nice experience. San Francisco was great in the 60’s so lets all collectively pretend we’re still living in those times

Let’s hope for the best. The mentally challenged are constantly being abused on the streets and many of them unable to manage themselves fall victim to drug pushers and lose the quality of life they deserve, these are the rights of all who reside in the city, not just disabled

People living with #mentalhealthdisabilities need supportive services that extend well beyond overcrowded shelters, and which definitely DO NOT include stripping them of their autonomy through conservatorships. Rehabilitation not Institutionalization.
