As mayor, what are you doing about it?
To start - clearing the backlog of Accessory Dwelling Unit applications, streamlining permitting for entitled projects, creating a modular housing facility in SF to build affordable housing quicker + for less, pushing to keep entitled projects from expiring. More to come.

@londonBreed !! the@bayareacouncil has sponsored three#ADU bills in Sacramento since 2015! if just 10% of the single family homes in the Bay Area built an#ADU we would generate 150,000 homes! with no public subsidy! they are inexpensive and quick to build too! -
Every one of the more than 150 ADU permits we pulled had to pay permit fees and they’re added to the property taxes! None of them were subsidized! Let’s keep going
