Looks great, but as native and father of two I'd worry about having my kids visiting the Civic Center and get poked with a hypodermic needle.

It is encouraging to see Civic Center made more approachable to families. We would walk my (then) two year-old to and from daycare past people shooting up on the sidewalk most days. Still, moving folks along doesn't put them in homes and jobs, it just moves them out of sight.

A city generating as much wealth as San Francisco should be insisting that those benefiting from the opportunities in this town are part of the solution to the problems in their community and pay their share.

In all do respect, certainly a lot of effort has gone into the area (thank you), as someone who moved back to SF after 8 years of being away I see more people there who are experiencing homeless now than prior, more aggressive behavior, and more trash. Not family friendly yet.
