What does Mayor Breed mean by "stuck in our City Bureaucracy"? AND, we can only get it "un-stuck" by paying a huge salary and pension for a new Director? The Director will probably need some new staff.....
Once new housing projects are approved, they often become stuck in our City bureaucracy. If 827 had passed this new role would be huge. Still helpful, but zoning has been a tool for discrimination for so long that we need a boost from the state. Also, I don't live in your city but am a big fan.

Bravo! The new director also needs to fend off overinvolved supervisors and residents who object to anything new. A key problem is that everyone wants a say in developments, mucking up any action or progress
