Thank you for taking this important step. It's sad, but unfortunately regular citizens are at risk every day by the volatile, unstable, mentally-ill and addicted. I've personally been assaulted, which makes walking the streets with my kids completely unnerving. Head on a swivel.

I know things are not so simple and will remain as such. However, I am very optimistic about this bill and how it will get people off the streets and raise the quality of their lives while also providing better public safety. Good Work!!!

Aren’t many who are the “target” of this bill already in a position of possible conservatorship? It seems like another law that doesn’t actually solve anything, but makes politicians look like they are doing something?
