If you make street poop and sidewalk needles a thing of the past, you have a shot of greatness. SF needs to set a base standard of behavior/expectations for everyone.

An area that needs immediate attention is 18th St between Dolores and Castro

This is just one of several camps in that immediate area. I call this one GoBike Village. It's been there for a long time but now it is more or less the whole block so its really super unpleasant to walk there. That's sad because it is a nice block with good trees and shade.pic.twitter.com/6o65FU4U6U

I’ve seen improvements in the mid-market area. But the Civic Center Bart station can be threatening and intimidating. It’s the reason we don’t get more foot traffic at night. I hoping for the best! It’s been tough for restaurants to stick it out.

Lining the streets (specifically 6th st and tenderloin) isn’t helping the problem.. actually making it way harder for us who provide services there. Arrests and police in the streets is a huge trauma for folks

I’ll only appreciate all these investments when I see some proof! Sick of all the poop (of all kinds) and needles and pee on every damn street of the city. It is depressing to get back to this city I call home even after a short trip anywhere outside. Clean up!!

Muni should not be last on the list, either in funding or attention, but other than that, I'm pretty happy with this budget. As a homeowner who pays a lot of the taxes that fund these services, it reflects my priorities for my city.
