I agree, I've had my own car broken into and it shouldn't be such a regular occurrence in the City. We're increasing foot patrols, hiring more officers, running public awareness campaigns, and increasing resources at district stations to address the issue.
Hi Mayor Breed. Thank you for the nice response. My car & my girlfriend's car have both had breakins. I do think @eyesonfairoaks has a good point bc the video shows the problem. Why doesn't SF set up stings or give chase? I was told by 2 nice SFPD they can't chase. Thieves know.
