That $13M pricetag bought by a 501C(3) or by gov means SF forfeits property tax revenues of 0.23% City + portion of state’s 1% every year, so in addition to costing taxpayers $13M, it costs additional $26,000 per year lost revenue. Plus cost of capital $700,000/yr. Not worth it!
