Agreed, President Breed, but I also understand why people are angry and scared about the interim mayor’s homeless sweeps. 7 days sleeping on a mat with all your stuff taken away isn’t offering homeless people meaningful services.

Part of why I support you is that as mayor, I trust you will bring a more compassionate approach and work on the root causes of homelessness! Not just push people from place to place.

No. There are real San Franciscans and then there are transplants and you used to know the difference. You’re young self would have answered that differently. Born and raised means something here. Always has. But working together has also.

What are you talking about? It means nothing to me if you were born here, what matters is how much effort are you putting make this city a better place.. and yes that means a better place for everyone even for the person who is not here yet..

Additional $$: The SF Apt Association, which fought against Leno’s Ellis Act reform bill and is now spending $ to oppose the right to counsel for tenants, gave $70K. Three local developers gave $25K. Dede Wilsey, who inherited her late husband’s real-estate operations, gave $100K

I agree, but I think we need to focus our energy on fighting for, not against, the most marginalized San Franciscans. “A riot is the language of the unheard.”
