cant rly just expect random late rounders to just turn into pro bowl linemen every year. hes gotta realize the best teams invest in o line and qb, the 2 positions he’s least interested in investing in. meanwhile the teams with mid rbs are the ones that win, the pos he likes most.

Daniel Bullocks' promotion from safeties coach to DB coach comes after 49ers' CB coach Cory Undlin left to work on DeMeco Ryans' staff in Houston. SF had formerly divvied up DB coach duties between Undlin and Bullocks — now Bullocks is the head man in that room

Theme of this 49ers' rookie class, as is essentially mandatory since the team already has a loaded roster, is special teams capability. Ronnie Bell has return skills, and so does UDFA DB D'Shawn Jamison. He's a nickelback prospect but his teams skillset can be a big boost

If those are his strengths, what are his weaknesses/areas to improve that kept him from getting drafted?

This is a massive UDFA guarantee from the 49ers for O-lineman Joey Fisher, who put up 40 bench press reps (most of all OL prospects) and ran a 4.9 40 at his pro day (close to the fastest of all OL prospects). Fisher has a real chance to make an impact
