Shortcut ingredients can make a big difference whether busy people have time to cook or not too (for us we bought that garlic a lot when the kids were small. Costco sold it super cheap).

Technically iodized salt is salt with iodine added. It’s very effective in preventing goiter.

I do not understand what the stigma is with modular meal making! No one holds a modern meal standard as valid only when home churned butter is added. It’s so silly to discount convenient time savers (like previously churned butter)

I don't fully understand the kids thing but I get that some ingredients are going to have different taste or textures but the point is shaming people for using more affordable or more accessible ingredients, like the tweet this is referencing did, is just tacky.
