I will grant them that the people who left the party in disgust would probably not be counted in such polls, but even so, his support within the party would still be a supermajority, even with that taken into consideration.

He’ll be the de facto leader of the party and will almost certainly run again in 2024. I think there’s a good chance he’ll be the nominee.
