Look dude, he didn't "bust ITAR". ITAR is still in force. The exact extent of what he did was getting the feds to admit that small arm semiauto *designs*, which the Chinese have plenty of, are not subject to ITAR

If you order a scope or a barrel to a PO box from eg Midway, they are going to email you with an ITAR compliance certification form. If you order it to a foreign country, they will refuse the transaction. If you try to fly out of country with gun parts, will get confiscated.

Where do you think the raw parts of the Ghost Gunner, several mini mills, 3d printers, etc get manufactured? Might that explain why he's going there?
