When 9/11 happened, there were daily reports of the death toll. We didn’t hear anything about 3,000 deaths until almost a year later? I guess whoever was reporting didn’t think that fact was important until now, which makes it highly suspicious.

3000 is not a "death toll" but an estimate based on attributing the differences in death rate from the previous year to the year of Hurricane Maria to Maria.

No, they don't. They tell you where the first application for a number occurred, especially for older folk. It is only rather recent that SSN account number applications occur with or shortly after birth.

Yeah, for some value of recent more than 30 years ago. Before that we got an SSN number for that first summer job in our high school years. OBummer's first job was in Hawaii, not CT.
