When you were a Lib Dem did you ever go out campaigning? Did you like telling people you were trying to communicate with them?
I'm not actually trying to get elected anymore. I thought change was possible. It isn't. I wouldn't have a hope in hell with no funds.

What I *can* do is advocate and use my voice for the average person in Croydon. I'm willing to sacrifice my own time and funds 4 that goal

Change is possible - and it's happening - but I believe joining a party, and directing policy from inside, is the best way to achieve that.

Party politics and partisanship has ruined us. Don't want to be a part of tug-of-war of party politics anymore. Leaves people by the wayside
-
I'm not sure it has - but easiest way to fix it the join one, mend from the inside. More progressive than being on the sidelines?
-
I'm independent for now. Will be forming a party soon comrprised of any and all who seek progress over politics incl Labour, LD + Tories.
-
It's worked for 00s of years, and strengthened our economic, social and cultural state as a nation. 650 independents have slowed progress.
-
I'm an independent because I don't believe in the Tory-Labour mudslinging contest. Both sides are complicit in destroying quality of life.
