"againsting theft"

-
I can forgive the grammar given that English is probably a second or third language (sender is in China)... but the content!!!
-
If one of trying to be insanely charitable, is it a pentalobular head or something an average person doesn’t have? It seems like that or Torx but couldn’t tell on phone.
-
It’s a torx... t-5
-
That’s common enough to basically be no security at all.
-
How hard is it to get one of those screws with a head that can only be turned one way? If you don't know what I'm talking about, they can be commonly found on road signs. They interfered with my plan from youth of stealing a "3 way" sign from under a stop sign.
-
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Hardware-Fasteners-Screws/One-Way/N-5yc1vZc2b0Z1z13i4z … It's pretty fuckin easy. I'll concede that the majority of these are wood or sheet metal screws, but the gist of it is that they are by no means some rare, proprietary item.

I am more concerned about how their sentences run into each other
-
The writer is in China... I can overlook grammar issues when the writer converses in what is probably his second or third language.
-
I failed to notice that
-
No worries. There was no way for you to know.

The media defending this thing... there should be a list.
-
I almost wonder if they meant “invisible” as that makes about as much sense.
-
The worst (?) thing is that they used a non-security Torx screw, so it's vulnerable to small flathead drivers. I could open this with just what's on my keychain.
-
Has anyone tried just breathing on the print reader to register a residual print? It used to work on old readers. I want it to be true just so “it’s invulnerable to anyone who isn’t breathing” can be a thing.
-
Doesn’t work.

-
Are you holding it right? Are you breathing right?
-
Have you tried to turn it off and on again?
-
Put it in rice yet*
