I just read in the City Paper that the DC microgrant will no longer be awarded to independent contractors who applied for it since they will now be eligible for unemployment. Do you know anything about that?
The Senate just passed a $484 billion #coronavirus package. It provides no funding to states and cities and doesn't do enough for our communities.

Yes. Ind contractors are eligible for PUA, pandemic unemployment assistance. Target date for
@DOES_DC to start accepting claims is 4/28. Email pua@dc.gov to be alerted when system is ready. You will get dc benefit plus $600 a week through july. - Show replies
